Whispers of the Deep
One of the many engineers that keeps Beta, the city under the sea, running, Mira only wants to make her family proud and to prove herself worthy. She knows the mysterious city better than anyone and it’s her dream to help it flourish.
But then, on a solo job in an abandoned section of the city, she encounters a monster of legend. An undine. A dangerous merman from an ancient civilization, long forgotten.
Arges has fought his entire life for his people. With deadly creatures under his control, he plans to eradicate Beta once and for all to protect his kind and their peaceful way of life. But when a human woman saves him, she unknowingly creates a bond between them, one he can’t ignore. Even though her flaming red hair haunts his dreams, he needs her for information on the undine’s enemies.
Song of the Abyss
Like a songbird in a cage, Anya has spent her entire life as the General's perfect daughter. He snaps his fingers, she jumps. He tells her to smile, she beams like she is made of the sun itself. But underneath all those games and glitter, she's working to destroy her father and save the city she loves.
When an undine sneaks his way into her city, intent on kidnapping her, she lets him take her.
Daios is plagued by the decisions of his past. Souls haunt him, memories follow his every move, and all he knows is that perhaps stealing this woman will absolve him of his sins. If he can bring her back to his people, then they can destroy the city where his hatred was born. He’s certain this will be easy. But then he sees the General’s daughter, and he knows nothing will ever be the same again.
Broken and damaged, he's certain no woman will ever love him. He shouldn't even try to encourage the mating instincts that ride him hard the moment he sees her.
But when he realizes that she's the same as he is, different from her people and on the outskirts of what others deem "normal", he knows he's a goner. Even if it means he has to risk everything to keep her.
Echoes of the Tide
Ace has spent her entire life hiding who she is. First, it was from friends and family who didn't know she was stealing from the rich. Then it was hiding her true self in a prison city under the water. The worst was hiding herself from new friends who helped her destroy Alpha. What she didn't know, was that decision would force her to come into the light.
Maketes has always been the jokester. No one takes him seriously, and if they do, it's only because he was born violent. But then he starts talking with a human through droids, and he finds a kindred spirit in them. When he's given an opportunity to find out who this human really is, he takes it.
But what he finds in that prison city is not just the person he was friends with. He finds a villainous group of people who wish to use him to their advantage, and a woman who captivates his entire soul.
Together, they travel throughout the remains of Gamma, a city long forgotten. And while they search for a key that will change how they see the entire world underneath the ocean, they find themselves growing closer. Soon enough, they realize that perhaps hiding their entire lives has prevented them from experiencing the greatest part of life.
Love.
Call of the Fathoms
The City of Tau has long been a secret. Until now. As a genetic experiment and personal guard to one of the Originals, Alexia has always known her purpose. Keep her Original safe. Ensure the city of Tau remains hidden amongst the depths of the ocean. And destroy any and all undine who try to make those jobs difficult.
Fortis has always known he was going to die early. His wife had seen a prophecy of his death in great detail, so he knew the exact moment he would expire. Which meant he wasn’t afraid. Fate could not be changed, not even by the warrior woman who captures his attention. After all, he knows the hour and circumstances of his death.
He lures her into hunting him, but he did not expect to enjoy their battles as much as he did. This woman has much to learn. If he had more time, perhaps he would make a good teacher for her. But he needs to convince this warrior to help them, even though she hates his kind.
The longer they are together, the more they both realize that there is not so much different between their species after all. And when Alexia discovers there is a great deception in her own city, she realizes perhaps it would not be so difficult to help the undine after all. Or… to even fall in love.
